On Thursday, Sept. 3, Virginia Superintendent of Public Instruction Jenna Conway and Virginia Secretary of Education Dr. Jeffery Smith visited Portsmouth Public Schools to witness some of the successful programs in place at Park View Elementary School, including Dual Language Immersion as well as the E3 Literacy Program. In addition, as PPS is a Purple Star division, the visit ended with a special presentation of Park View's Purple Star program.
